This is our third collaboration with Bushcraft Kelso's hand-forged Algiz Rune FireStriker Pendant.

We wanted to make something a little more simple, but also more multi-functional than previous versions.

The result is the T.K.N...a kevlar based necklace that lets you carry not only the firestriker pendant, but other small tools like a firesteel or even a small pouch too.

The T.K.N. is made with 6 feet of USA made 300lb Kevlar cord. It's doubled over and strategically knotted to function as a friction saw if needed.

Taking a cue from our newest line of rosaries, we added a lightweight aluminum screw closure placed at the pendant end. The placement gives you the full length of the doubled-over Kevlar cord to use as a saw.

To add an extra level of function, a small clip is used to hold the pendant.

This roughly 1" black carabiner style clip allows you to easily remove the firestriker pendant for use. It also lets you clip on a few other items you might need like a fire steel or even a small pouch.

The pendants are individually hand forged by Bushcraft Kelso, with a handcut Algiz Rune on one side.

They are .100 thick heat treated 1095 high carbon steel.

It's designed to be used as a striker for a fire rod, and this thing throws a wicked spark.

Because they're hand made and hand forged, each pendant will be a little different and unique in look, size, and temper lines.

To finish things off and give the necklace a little blend-in style, we've added a few beads.

The roughly 6mm black beads are made from bone. There are 7 beads on one side, and 3 on the other with the closure. This allows the closure to blend in more, and makes the necklace look more balanced.
