Each piece is unique and individually handmade from start to finish using traditional jewelry and metal working techniques.

Because these are individually made by hand, available quantities are extremely limited.

Wst3Lnd Amulets Loteria Card Series

 

The Wst3Lnd Loteria Card Amulets were drawn and designed by .e. You won’t find these anywhere else.

Each one is handmade by us here in our studio in East Tennessee using copper and brass.

We meticulously hand cut each element out of copper and brass, then sand and file the pieces before soldering it all together.

They’re stamped with our signature .e. so you know they’re legit, and sanded again before polishing and getting them ready for patina.

A patina is applied to darken and age the metals, giving them a rustic worn-in look.

We then do some final touches before applying a protective clear coating. This jewelry-grade finish seals the metal and protects the patina.

Unlike other sealers, it doesn’t change the look of the metal, and it won’t peel or flake over time.

The final step is applying a wax sealant. This gives an extra layer of protection, and helps maintain the longevity of the clear coat.

The Wst3Lnd Loteria Card Amulets measure roughly 1.375 x 2”.

They have a single hole at the top with a handmade jump ring so they can be hung from a necklace, chain, keychain, etc…

How To Care For Your Jewelry

All of our jewelry is made to be used and used often in daily life and rugged environments. However, there are a few things we recommend to help keep your pieces in top condition.

• remove jewelry when showering, swimming, or being submersed in water. Over time, exposure to water can break down the protective coating used to seal the piece. 
  
  
• clean with mild soap (like Dawn) and water only. Do not use any chemicals. They aren’t necessary, and will eat away at the protective coating over time. 
  
  
• if you are prone to sweating or doing activities where you are, remove the piece at night and wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth and rub dry. Do this everyday.

Long Term Care:

We make our jewelry to last and be used, and something we hope you can pass down later for someone else to enjoy too.

Keeping your piece clean and regularly maintained helps further increase its lifespan.

To maintain the protective coating and patina of your piece over time and use, we recommend a simple cleaning and waxing regiment every 3-6 months. How often you do this depends on how much you wear it.

First clean the piece with mild soap (like Dawn) and water, and dry it well. Apply a protective wax using a soft cloth according to the directions on the product you’re using. 

Use a product that is made for metal and contains either microcrystalline or carnuba wax (and no abrasives). The two products we highly recommend and use are 1. FlitZ Knife & Gun Wax (not the polish) 2. Renaissance Wax.
