The rosary 2.0 is our take on a modern, upgraded version of the traditional rosary.

We eliminated the “drop” that holds the pendant, while still maintaining the original bead count.

The current edition does not have a pendant, but you can add one yourself if you’d like by simply attaching a jump ring between the necklace and pendant.

We’ve kept our proprietary magnetic closure and no knot stringing.

By eliminating the knots (which are the only cryptonite of technora) potential failure points are significantly reduced.

The magnetic closure is different also. We have been testing a new style, and are very happy with the results. This is the first rosary that uses the new magnets. 

The new magnetic clasp is solid raw brass, and blends in seamlessly with the beads. The cord is secured into the clasp instead of around a metal loop like the previous ones. Once again, this significantly reduces a potential failure point by not relying on a single loop to hold the cord.

The beads are 8mm round solid brass beads with some 8mm round copper beads as well. Because these are solid brass, this rosary has a nice weight to it and packs quite a punch should the need arise.

Please note also that the brass and copper beads on this rosary are raw and uncoated. They will patina and darken over time. If you prefer for them to stay shiny, you can polish occassionally with some Brasso or Penny Brite (found in most hardware stores, Walmarts, etc...) and a soft cloth. But we love the look these beads take on over time just letting them do their thing.

Because they are raw metal, you may see some discoloration on your skin as well. This is not an indication of the quality of the metals, it's a normal occurrence with raw copper and brass and is also known to have healing properties. 

However, if you have an allergy to metals we do not recommend this rosary as the uncoated beads may cause a reaction. How do you know if you're allergic? If you wear any type of metal jewelry other than sterling silver or real gold and get a rash or breakout within hours, you are allergic.
