Each rosary is handstrung & knotted by us in our studio in Tennessee. We use only the highest quality materials combined with professional jewelry-making techniques.

The first and last “beads” are a part of this. They look a little different than the other beads, but blend in seamlessly.

We use a no-knot technique on the beginning and ending cords (the loose ends) to avoid weak spots in the rosary. Knots can work loose over time causing the rosary to come apart.

They are also made so the amulet can be removed and changed easily using the provided rings. 

Cordage:

The base of each rosary is black Kevlar 400. Our Kevlar fiber is made in the USA by DuPont, and is 100% Kevlar with no fillers (yes, that’s a thing!). It is assembled and braided in the USA by a Veteran Owned company. 

Kevlar is a strong, synthetic aramid fiber with a high tensile strength-to-weight ratio. It is five times stronger than steel, and highly heat resistant. It also has very little stretch making it ideal in applications that require friction such as sawing or cutting. 

Magnetic Closure:

We use a high quality, made in the USA magnetic closure. It is purposely placed at the amulet end should the rosary need to be used in less than favorable circumstances.

Please note also that the magnet color may vary based on availability, and may be silver, black, or copper.

Beads:

The BlackOut Holy Death Rosary is made with 8mm matte Black Onyx beads with 4mm matte black glass spacer beads.

The Black Onyx beads are classy looking, and have a little weight to them. They are slightly cool to the touch, giving them a nice feel in hand. 

Amulet:

The .925 sterling silver Santa Muerte amulet is made in Mexico. It is approximately 33mm x 11mm. We hand darken each amulet to give an oxidized look, and bring down the shine.

All rosaries are shipped well protected in a black metal tin to hold your rosary when not in use, or it can be repurposed into a handy kit container. We will also include some extra pendant rings to make removing and changing pendants quicker and easier. This will also keep the rings from loosing their hold over time if they are removed a lot.
